2010 Coosa River Whitewater Festival
The annual festival is scheduled for May 14-16, 2010 at the Coosa Outdoor Center, 172 River Road, Wetumpka, AL The canoe race will be Saturday morning beginning at 9 am with kayak competition beginning about 11 am. Moe Dixon, our favorite entertainer, will be the featured entertainer Saturday evening non-stop from 8 – 11 pm—weather permitting– down on the river at the tree house. Bring your comfortable chairs, coolers, etc. and have fun with us on the Coosa. Registration Fee $25 includes free camping, great t-shirt, personal shuttle to the put-in Saturday morning (no gear) and a ticket to the party. See you on the Coosa!
